With a route of 4.182 km, the Estoril circuit known at the end of the 21st century a true golden age. The circuit was the place of dueling and victories that marked the history of the sport car. Who does not remember the victory of Niki Lauda in 1994, allowing him to win his 3rd and last F1 World Championship title. Or the successful debut of Ayrton Senna in 1985 driving his Lotus JPS in the pouring rain.
All these memories are deeply rooted in Estoril’s history, as well as in the hearts of the many fans who have seen them.
Today, the Estoril circuit offers pilots a very unique configuration with 13 turns (4 left and 9 right) and a straight line of 985 meters and significant elevation variations.
The series of highly technical sequences will require the teams to prepare a versatile car, with good top speed and great cornering agility, especially in the two Turn 4 and Turn 6 pins.
