Presented in the paddock of the Valencia meeting last September, the Tatuus F3R will be competing in the Single Seater Challenge in the coming weeks!
Vincent Vigier, organiser of the Ultimate Cup Series, went to the headquarters of the Italian firm Tatuus, in Concorezzo, north of Milan, to discover the infrastructures. He was received by Gianfranco De Bellis, co-owner of the company, with whom he was able to discuss the coming season.
Vincent Vigier & Gianfranco De Bellis
Vincent Vigier: “We are delighted to be able to forge ties with Tatuus and to be able to offer our customers the opportunity to entry this magnificent Tatuus F3 T-318 in our championship. This car has all the new FIA safety standards, including the Halo.”
Gianfranco De Bellis: “The Ultimate Cup Series is a very interesting championship, very well organised and which will give us new visibility. We are delighted with this new opportunity to see our cars on 17-inch Michelin tyres. The modifications to be made to the car to match the Ultimate configuration are minor. The rims are different and the gear ratios of the SADEV gearbox have been optimized.”
The Tatuus F3Rs will be entered in their Ultimate Cup Series configuration, namely, powered by the Renault 1.8-litre turbocharged 270-horsepower engine and fitted with the new 17-inch Michelin tyres.
