The Paul Armagnac circuit, first permanent circuit in France, was built in 1960. At its creation, the track was 1752m length. It will be lengthened twice to reach the current 3636m. The fame of this circuit was built thanks to the competitions organized in Gers and the drivers who won in Nogaro: Prost, Laffitte, Beltoise, Jaussaud, Jabouille, Alesi and more recently Loeb, Vergne, Grosjean, Ricciardo, Barthez… but also Agostini, Estrosi, Roberts… on a motorcycle. The 2007 upgrade of the Paul Armagnac Circuit allowed the construction of an ultra-modern complex recognized by the quality of its organization.
