NOVEMBER 26 – 29, 2020

Presentation

Located in the Algarve region of southern Portugal, the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, commonly known as Portimao circuit, was inaugurated at the end of 2008. With a length of 4,684 km, the circuit offers 32 different configurations and is equipped with numerous facilities, making it one of the most modern circuits in the world today.

Built with the aim of hosting Formula 1 races, the Portuguese track is considered particularly demanding for the drivers as it offers a long bumpy surface, making it sometimes difficult for the car and motorcycle prototypes to drive.

In addition, the Algarve is widely known for its year-round warm climate and world-class gastronomy. Beyond the natural landscape, with its beautiful beaches and vast mountainous expanses, the region is also the location for a multitude of activities, ranging from sport to culture and leisure.
