- Chazel Technologie returns to the Ultimate Cup Series with a double programme
- Several Alpine Cups will be entered in Endurance and Sprint races throughout the season
Chazel Technologie will compete in the entire 2023 Ultimate Cup Series season in two different disciplines.
For the team founded in 1993 by Renaud Chazel, 2023 will be a very important year as it will mark its 30th anniversary. After a first full season in the Ultimate Cup Series in 2021, and then a few freelances in 2022 due to the busy calendar, the family structure based in the Cévennes region of France has chosen to return with a double programme over the six rounds of the calendar.
An Alpine A110 Cup will compete in the Endurance GT Touring Challenge by Kennol with a crew from the Peugeot 208 Racing Cup, made up of Benoit Marion, Olivier Martinez and Julien Bounie.
Several Alpine A110 Cups will also be entered in the Sprint GT Touring Challenge, including two at the opening round at Le Castellet on 24-26 March 2023. However, we will have to wait to know the identity of their drivers.
Louis Chazel, team manager: “ The Ultimate Cup Series, because of its calendar and formats, is the ideal playing field for our Alpine A110 Cup cars, in both endurance and sprint. We are the reigning champions of the Alpine Elf Europa Cup and our objective is to shine in our category by winning, especially this year which marks the 30th anniversary of our family structure.”
