The new format introduced this winter of two 25-minute races and one 50-minute race, for one or two drivers, has proved its worth on the Circuit Paul Ricard.
The Coupe Pièces Auto GT Hyper Sprint continues to seduce the teams, which is reflected in the arrival of new cars. An Audi A4 DTM R13, which raced in 2007 with Martin Tomczyk at the wheel, will take part in the Spanish round in UGT3A with two great circuit regulars, Eric Debard and the young driver from Toulouse, Edouard Cauhaupé, runner-up in the Asian Le Mans Series.
VDS Racing Adventures will play on two levels with, in parallel to the Marc Car II Mustang in Endurance, the engagement of a Marc Car Focus V8 for Raphaël van der Straten Ponthoz.
JSB Compétition doubles up in Navarra with, in addition to the Peugeot 308 TCR driven by Joran Leneutre, an Alpine entered in UGTC4.
The cars entered for the season will of course be there, as will the Italians from Scuderia Ravetto and Ruberti and their Ferrari 488 GT3, driven by Edoardo Barbolini and Luca Demarchi, who won the opening race of the season.
The Bentley Continental GT3 entered by CMR will be back in UGT3A with Eric Mouez and Gregory Driot on board. An Alpine A110 will also be entered by Charly Bourachot’s team, in the UGTC4 category, for Gabriele Marotta.
The two Vortex (UGT3B), the Porsche 991 Cup of Breizh Motorsport (Porsche Cup) and the BMW M2 CS Racing of Rosel Racing (UGTC4) will also be present.
