With three different winners in the first three races at Le Castellet, the battle could not have been tighter. The competition resumes this weekend in Spain, with a championship led by the young Swiss driver, Shannon Lugassy, at the wheel of the F3R n°55 of CMR. At just 16 years of age, he arrives in Spain with a 2-point lead over Loris Kyburz (Graff) and Fabrice Rossello (Graff), driving their respective F3Rs.
Despite a victory, the reigning champion Nicolas Prost (CMR) has had a difficult start to the season and will be trying to get back on track. For the record, his nephew, Gaspard Le Gallais, aged 15, will be competing in his very first race in motor sport, at the wheel of an FR2.0, also entered by CMR.
Another young driver has already distinguished himself and will try to climb on the highest step of the podium, Sacha Maguet who has already taken the F3R of Formula Motorsport on the second step in Castellet.
Christophe Hurni (Sports-Promotion), who has already won three times with his FR 2.0, will try to continue his success.
