The competitors of the Endurance Proto grid will be able to enjoy a 4-hour race as the highlight of the weekend on Sunday.
The 3-hour race at the Circuit Paul Ricard was won by the #16 Graff Ligier JS P320. The latter will be the sole representative of the LMP3 class and will be driven by Lucca Allen and Umberto D’Amato, both of whom won in the Var. Umberto’s brother Jacopo d’Amato will join them after missing the first race due to school exams. The Swiss is only 17 years old…
The CN battle will be tough with no less than 5 crews playing for the win in this category, and why not the overall victory? This is what ANS Motorsport, DB Autosport, Nerguti Competition and Palmyr will try to achieve. Stéphane Ortelli, winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1998, the 24 Hours of Spa and the 12 Hours of Sebring, among others, will be at the start alongside Alban and Dylan Nerguti, in a Nova CN.
Presented at Estoril, during the 2021 season finale, the brand new Nova NP02 prototype will make its race debut this weekend. The prototype, entered by ANS Motorsport, will be driven by team boss Nicolas Schatz and two-time defending LMP3 champion Julian Kuwabara-Wagg.
The 4-hour race will be run on Sunday between 14:35 and 18:35.
