The fifth season in the history of the Ultimate Cup Series European will conclude in grand style at the Paul Ricard Circuit on November 24, 25, and 26, 2023. For the occasion, the organizers of the European-wide championship have pulled out all the stops by bringing together the cream of the crop in motorsports.
Sebastien Loeb, holder of nine World Rally Championship titles and a true icon in motorsports, will not miss the opportunity to take the wheel of the Renault RS01 fielded by Krafft Racing. “As soon as there’s a steering wheel, competition, and I’m available, I’m there!” emphasizes the Alsace native, who will participate in the 4-hour race of the Endurance GT-Touring Challenge by KENNOL alongside Laurène Godey and Grégory Launier. “I can’t wait to experience the great atmosphere of the Ultimate Cup Series and the magnificent Circuit du Castellet. Everything seems to be in place for a great weekend of motorsports, just the way I like them.”
Accustomed to racing off the beaten path, Sebastien Loeb is always eager to return to the asphalt. He has already had the opportunity to showcase his talent and speed in the Ultimate Cup Series back in 2021 at the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours.
He will once again measure himself against specialists in the discipline within a grid featuring 22 cars, entered by some of the most renowned teams in grand touring, such as AF Corse, AKKODIS ASP Team, and Martinet by Alméras.
One hundred and fifty cars, distributed across the seven series grids, will be in competition to make this ultimate stage at the Paul Ricard Circuit one of the most thrilling of the season!
