Press release | 1st November 2019
The organizers of the Ultimate Cup Series are pleased to present, this Friday, November 1, 2019, during the 2019 season final at Circuit Paul Ricard, the brand new Proto Evo CN. These prototypes will be able to compete in the CN category from the 2020 season, alongside the current models, and will compete in the CN Endurance Trophy, which will be dedicated to them.
Designed and developed by Fabien Bourgeon, in close collaboration with the technical teams of the Ultimate Cup Series, this brand new prototype, with its new lines, will increase the attractiveness of the CN product.
Drivers will be able to enjoy driving a prototype with the characteristics of a real race car, at a reasonable cost for our customers. Michelin, the main partner of the Ultimate Cup Series, will provide tires that combine performance and durability.
Fabien Bourgeon, designer of the car: “This prototype was designed to guarantee reliability and offer a reduced price per kilometre. Thanks to Michelin 17” or 18” tyres, wear is reduced and engine reliability is increased. We have focused the development on a few known issues in NC, such as running gear, bearings and cooling.”
